Hello student,
As someone who quit mechanical engineering from the very first semester to pursue his field of interest, i.e. journalism and mass communication, I truly justify my decision to have chose the area of my liking having spent eight years as a media professional and doubling as a mentor to budding journalists for the last more than one years.
I have done my graduation in Mass Communication, my Master's degree in Mass Communication and a PG Diploma in English Journalism from the prestigious IIMC. It is my deep interest in the profession and my knack for writing and editing that helped me get selected for India's premier news agency PTI through IIMC campus placement. The journey that began as an intern in 2015 has reached another milestone with me becoming a Principal Copy Editor with the news agency.
During this period, I developed my skills, upgrading existing ones and learning new things.
If you choose to get mentored by me, it's not just the theoretical portion that I will be helping you in, but also my experience working in the core media industry that I would share with you.
Moreover, I was also honoured with the "IIMC Samman" for being a campus topper. This combination of academics and practical knowledge is the need of the hour considering the gap between theoretical foundations and employability skills these days.
I would prefer teaching my students at the place of their choosing, leaving them least worried about the hassle of traveling and focusing on just studying.

Also, given the number of years I have given to this industry, my academic qualifications as well as personal achievements, it can be a value for money for aspiring journalists/ media professionals or other practitioners of the stream.
