KIPLAGAT YEGONTEACHER OF MATHEMATICS AT HIGH SCHOOL
No reviews yet
I prefer a discovery approach to learning, an approach where the learner is a key participant not just a mere observer. I love teaching Mathematics and I do so with passion.
I particularly like that student who may be so low in performance but has the motivation to prove he/she can do well with appropriate support. Keen to help self driven students. A student who derives fun in mathematics. A student who has a competitive mind set.
Over the past, My students have registered very impressive grades in mathematics and Business studies particularly in the Kenyan 8.4.4 SYSTEM AND THE IGCSE year 11 exams Am absolutely uncomfortable with a student who has the feeling of being forced to study. Mathematics is a doing subject. The student MUST understand he/she must attempt so many questions to be able to internalize the concept. Finally, Mathematics is fun. Better enjoy it otherwise you will be miserable in your high school life especially given it is a compulsory subject. Most Mathematics questions always ask " find x".....
For the fun of it, you can call me Mr. X Yours Mr. Yegon
