Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm a statistics tutor. I'm passionate about helping students understand the principles of data analysis and statistical modeling. My goal is to help students become confident and effective problem-solvers when it comes to data. I specialize in teaching introductory and intermediate level statistics, including topics such as descriptive statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. I'm also an experienced user of various statistical software packages, including R, Jamovi, and SPSS. I'm looking forward to helping students become more proficient in their use of statistics. My teaching methodology is to focus on helping students develop a strong understanding of the underlying concepts of statistics and data analysis. I firmly believe that understanding the concepts is essential to mastering the application of them. I strive to provide an interactive learning experience and use a variety of teaching tools, such as real world examples, simulations, and visualizations to keep students engaged while they learn. I also provide students with ample practice opportunities to help them gain confidence in the material.
