I have been teaching for 7 years, I always teach my students as supposing myself as a student. I always prepare topics before a day of teaching. I prefer to go through every medium like as internet, different books and notes, before teaching.
I always urge to make student satisfy and learned before leaving class. I give them assignments on daily basis and quizzes of last topic. I always make students to learn in detail not overview.
I give subjects topics completely in start of course so that students can become mentally prepare for the upcoming topics.
I also prepared them for examination on weekly test. I always want to know that in what style students want to learn so I go for that one.
