IF WE TALK ABOUT MUSIC ITS TOTALLY PRACTICAL SUBJECT BUT SOME TIMES WE HAVE TO MAKE NOTES OF FEW NOTATIONS (SWARLIPI)/ TAAL AND ITS BEAT FORMAT, SO THAT THE STUDENTS CAN DO THEIR PRACTICES WITH THEIR NOTES .

Sharing my own experience of various stages like Zee punjabi saregamapa 2012, Awaaz punjab di reality shows, that how we boost ourselves as Singer/ entertainer/ performer

Firstly we will go for basic learning of Alankar/ palta to give proper shape and tune our throat accordingly .
After some classes of students exercise we will start the following skills for vocals

Vocal Skills to be taught
 Classical Vocal and Light Indian
 Voice Modulation
 Playback techniques
 Singing Expressions
 Stage Etiquette

Afterwards we will be starting basic ragas/ alaap/ taans and Knowledge of Tabla beats called taals.
More over we will have a structural knowledge of baisc instruments like Harmonium, Tanpura, Tabla and some Electronics devices and apps to be used in someones practices..

So all thing is based on students punctuality in practice, what is told by the teacher is done or not on time. which is very important in Music learning process .
