I, Khalid Abdul Ghafoor, is currently working as Lecturer at SZABIST University, Management Science Department, Islamabad, Pakistan. Along with this, I am doing Ph.D. at the National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, FAST, Islamabad, Pakistan. I belong to the Cost and Management Accountants community and possess both professional and academic qualifications. I have more than 14 years of academic experience, gained by working with various recognized institutes in Pakistan. My MS in Management Sciences (Accounting & Finance), and Ph.D. (Scholar) in Management Sciences (Finance).
I am also working as a tutor for CSS preparation for Accountancy & Auditing. Moreover, I have also a practical experience with key turn projects in Management, Accountancy & Taxation. Correspondingly, I have dynamic research skills with expertise in various research analysis tools like SPSS, Smart-PLS, and NVIVO. My area of research is financial literacy, personal finance, cryptocurrency investment, emerging adults’ well-being, and parental financial socialization. I have presented many research papers at national and international conferences.
With a strong academic background and professional experience in the field of Accounting and Finance, I am excited about the possibility of contributing to academic excellence. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in both industry and academia, which has provided me with a well-rounded perspective on the practical applications of accounting and finance concepts. My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills among students, ensuring their preparedness for the demands of the real-world business environment.
