First step is to focus on your goal and be calm mentally because if there is any kind of depression or stress on your mind you can not able to show your creativity.
Every beginner should start from simple and easy idea and always focus on outlines of what you draw.
As you know every teacher have there own teaching style, guidelines and methodology ; So I have my own strategy. I am good in pencil sketching, painting, coloring, drawing and spray painting etc.
And last thing is I never compromise on class timing.
