I am an ardent literary practitioner, poet, writer, teacher, performance artist, literary critic, and a former journalist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am currently working as a faculty of English at the DPS STS School Dhaka's Senior Section. Here I am immersed in a therapeutic tour to forage practicality and pansophy by teaching Cambridge IGCSE English as a First Language and Cambridge International AS & A Level English Language (9093). I have precisely 14 years of prolific experience working as a teacher, writer, and journalist.
I specialize in Teaching English language and literature having accomplished my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees with distinction in English Literature from the University of Dhaka. Previously, I also worked as an English Language and Literature teacher in several distinguished international schools. I taught at Baridhara Scholars' International School and College (BSISC), Royal Institute of Smart Education (RISE), Sylhet, William Carey International School, and Sydney International School, Dhaka. Additionally, I worked as an English language and phonetics trainer with many corporate organizations, including the Bangladesh Police and the Bangladesh Army. I was also an illustrious debater with the Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS), and a performance artist with Brine Pickles, an organization of English writers in Bangladesh. Erstwhile, I also worked as a broadcast journalist with renowned media houses (English News), and as a feature writer and editor (Literature page) with the national English daily, The Daily Observer.
I have over 50 literary works: poetry, short stories, and literary criticism published in celebrated national English dailies, as well as, acclaimed literary journals and websites.
As a teacher, writer, and phonetics expert, I believe a good English teacher writes like a poet, speaks like an orator, guides like a philosopher, and curves the genius mind in the classroom like a sage.
