BRITISH-BORN AND EDUCATED QURAN TEACHER
I am British-born/raised, and educated upto Masters level. I live in Kings Heath, South Birmingham, and have a clear, enhanced DBS check.

I have had a successful career, alhamdulillah, and still run my own management consultancy. My firm belief in the vital importance of Muslims receiving the highest-quality quran tuition, however, led me to also start teaching quranic recitation.

I studied in Damascus under my teacher, who taught me the importance of reciting with correct articulation and to enjoy reciting the book of Allah (swt). I enjoy passing this on to others now, both to children and adults, so that they may then pass it onto others in the future.

HIGHLY-PRAISED BY EXPERT RECITERS
I teach beginners right up to expert level, with my students having moved onto hifz programmes as well as working towards their 'ijazahs. I have, alhamdulillah, received praise from Shuyukh in Egypt and Syria for the quality of recitation I am able to get from my students.

ENJOYMENT
Perhaps the thing I am most proud of is just how much my students enjoy reciting the quran, and how happy the parents have been. I enjoy being a mentor to my students, not just a teacher.

Fee details

    £5–15/hour (US$6.33–18.99/hour)

    I teach privately on Saturday and Sunday mornings and evenings, charging £45 per month for a minimum of one hour, one-to-one teaching a week.

    For occasional lessons with no commitment, I charge £15 per hour.
