I am a passionate teacher who has interest in helping students discover who they truly are so as to develop their confidence and personalities for their future life roles. I have a particular interest in assisting them on the area of their emotional and psychological development; by creating a rapport which enables me to understand their areas of strengths and weakness, with a view of assisting them to improve.
Below are my preferred teaching methods which enable me to achieve my objectives:
Individualized instructional method: Which engages my students and I on one on one basis. This guarantees instructional package for each of them based on their needs, interests, motivation and abilities; which is a pointer to the fact that the pace of learning differs among students. No new work is given until the previous one is understood.
Questioning technique; which gives room for students to ask questions after a topic is taught. Using this method enables me to give more explanation to help them proceed.
Others are: story telling and computer assisted techniques among others. Application of the above methods will produce generations of students who are holistically sound for self actualisation and societal development.
Moreso, I have a unique way of blending fun with learning to offer my students an enabling environment to succeed in their academic pursuit and this makes me feel great.
