Depending on the level of exposure, for first timers i explain the names of the pieces, their movement, how they move when exchanging the pieces. Also, i explain the main purpose of playing chess ie the end result of playing chess. I have some notes that i give to my students so that the can go through them during their spare time. I'm a great teacher because i'm very patient with my students and passionate about teaching others how to play chess. For the past 10 years i managed to teach more than 15 people and now they are good at playing chess.
