Experience

  • Kathak Educator and Performer (Oct, 2017–Present) at self employed
    Initiated into Bharatanatyam at the age of 8, and underwent 12 years of rigorous training from Acharya Dr. S. Divyasena, (Divyanjali School of Dance, Chennai) and performed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in 2010. Currently learning Kathak from Guru Mulla Afsar Khan for more than 8 years and a Natya Visharad Awardee from Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society with a diploma in Kathak. Also trained in basic Tabla (Percussion Instrument) under the guidance of Guru Mihir Kundu and Shri Prasanth G Krishnan.

    Teaching since 2017, online and offline.
    Adjunct educator in Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society and Swarna Kala Mandir, Singapore.

    Performances: Various productions in Singapore including Prakriti Vikriti at Esplanade, Kala Utsavam, Kala Vaibhavam, Indian Culture Shows etc.
