My name is Chamathka, I am a university graduate, I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney. I am currently pursuing my MBA from the University of Newcastle. I am fluent in English having lived in Australia for over a decade and I completed high school at one of the highly recognized schools in Colombo. I have worked as a teaching assistant previously and enjoy helping others learn in order to bring our their fullest potential. I believe education is a fundamental right as it allows individual and kids to elevate their quality of life. My specialties are International Business and Strategic Management, having g two business related degrees, but as I am fluent in spoken and written English, it is a subject I am keen to teach my students. I have plenty of international experience and I currently work as a managing director at a local hospital.
My teaching style is based on how I learn, which is Kinesthetic learning. It is important for students to see it and try it over and over in order for it to become natural. I will be teaching at the University standard, which involves case study analysis, presentation development, essay writing and for students planning to go for overseas education, I will focus on academics writing with referencing.
