Hello there!

I'm excited to introduce myself as a BSc Mathematics and Statistics graduate and co-founder of MatheMania, a youth coalition tutoring program focused on instilling a love for mathematics while empowering young minds to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I believe in using creative and engaging methods, including games and interactive activities, to make learning enjoyable for my students. I prioritize core understanding of mathematical concepts and use real-life examples to showcase the relevance of math and strengthen critical thinking skills.

In addition to mathematics, I also offer English tutoring where I employ similar interactive and creative approaches to elaborate on various language concepts. My patience and keen observation skills allow me to identify weak areas and tailor my tutoring accordingly, fostering effective communication skills and a passion for language.

Whether in-person sessions through MatheMania or online classes via Google Meet, Zoom, and WhatsApp, my aim is to provide an enriching and transformative learning experience. Dedicated students committed to practice and effort are most welcome, as my role is to guide and fill knowledge gaps while students actively engage by asking precise questions for each session.

    MatheMania is a tutoring program meant to assist learners in mathematics and mathematical literacy. We use creative ways to engage with learners and to ignite their interests and excitement for the subject.

    We tutor with the aim of eliminating the hate, increasing the love and igniting the passion for mathematics.
  • Tutor (Feb, 2022–Jul, 2022) at University of the Western Cape
    I tutored a first semester Statistics module to 2nd year level undergraduates.
  • Tutor (May, 2021–Nov, 2022) at Education without borders
    Tutored mathematics and English, in classroom settings, from Primary level (grade 6) to Secondary level (grade 12).

    My role was to tutor using fun and creative ways for the learners, and these skills have stuck with me since.
