Knowledge of the Quran

There is no way that one can teach what they personally don’t know and when it comes to the Quran, knowledge is not the only required feature of a good teacher but also expertise. The importance of the expertise factor comes in when handling matured Quran students and hence the teacher should be highly qualified.

One of the essential qualities a Quran teacher must have is patience. In such cases, the teacher needs to have ample patience, so they do not lose their temper or get frustrated with the kids.
Good Communication Skills
Another quality that is essential for a Quran teacher is good communication skills. This is because they will need to communicate regularly with both kids and parents. They should be able to explain even complex concepts in simple terms so that everyone can understand them easily. Furthermore, they should also be able to answer any questions parents or kids might have regarding the lessons.
