I am Norshahida Akma binti Alias. Graduated from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin with a Master's Degree in Social Science (Sociology) in 2020. I have worked as a Tutor since 2018 until 2020. My first job was when I was offered teaching under Persatuan Perkep (Persatuan Keluarga Perkep Setiu). I have the opportunity to teach primary school students from Standart 1 to standart 6 in Mathematics and Bahasa Melayu. After completing my master's studies, while looking for a permanent job in 2022 I returned to teaching tuition to students' homes. I started joining the company Mytutor Academy.Sdn Bhd. I managed to get 15 students from kindergarten to Form 5 student.

Every teacher has a different teaching approach. I am a person who prioritizes face-to-face teaching and learning. But I also used online method teaching. I think that face-to-face meetings facilitate the process of knowledge transfer. Accordingly, technique that I used when teaching kindergarten students is phonics and spelling method. For primary and secondary school students, I will inform them a week before class start related topic to be discussed to avoid wasting time. Therefore, the available time is used to discuss questions that the students do not understand.
