I'm excited to introduce myself as Soah Yun, a student currently residing in Sydney. I have a diverse background that has shaped my language skills and teaching style. Let me share some more information about myself.

My background:
I was born and raised in Japan, which gave me a strong foundation in the Japanese language. However, during my elementary school years, I had the incredible opportunity to live in the United States for five years. This experience immersed me in an English-speaking environment and allowed me to become fluent in both Japanese and English. Furthermore, I have a conversational level of proficiency in Korean.

My teaching style:
When it comes to teaching, I focus on practical conversational skills rather than relying solely on textbook language. I believe in making classes enjoyable and interactive, with a strong emphasis on speaking practice. Of course, I am also capable of teaching reading and writing skills. I can create customized PowerPoint presentations for each class, incorporating various engaging elements to make the learning experience fun and effective.

My experience:
I have previous experience teaching English online to middle school and elementary school students. During these classes, I created tailored PowerPoint presentations that included educational YouTube videos and online games to facilitate learning. Additionally, I volunteered as an English teacher at a Cambodian school. In this role, I developed the class content and even incorporated music to make the lessons more creative and engaging.

My personality:
On a personal note, I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people and engaging in conversations. Many people have described me as approachable, responsible, and funny. I have a genuine passion for learning about different cultures, so it would be fantastic to have the opportunity to share our cultural experiences with each other.
