I have more than 15 years of experience both in the UK and KSA. I have also been awarded several teaching awards in my career. More details are in my CV.

I started my academic career in 2008 with the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
During my tenure, I have received the Vice-Chancellor Tutor of the Year Award, and
Faculty Excellence Award in Blended Learning with a funding grant to create an
educational app for pharmacy students in 2012. I achieved the status of Fellow of
Higher Education Academy, UK in 2013. While being in the UK, I was also involved
in the team responsible for pharmacy program accreditation. I have extensive
experience in teaching and assessment.
In 2015, I moved to Saudi Arabia to join Umm Al-Qura University and worked as an
academic there until 2021. While being in Saudi Arabia, I was a pioneer in developing
and implementing OSCE in pharmacy education program as well as developed an
adapted version of a virtual community pharmacy simulated program that was
recognized by the university e-learning department. Along with other certifications, I
am also a certified healthcare simulation educator. Currently, I have been working
with the Cairo-based campus of the University of Hertfordshire (hosted by the Global
Academic Foundation) since October 2021.
