Waqas is a Professional Counselor/Clinical Psychologist who has a Master’s degree from the Government College University Faisalabad and a M. Phil Clinical Psychology from Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of the Karachi.
I have been experience of providing counseling services to a variety of individuals, particularly adolescents, in various settings within the community, hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers. I have training in cognitive behavior therapy and utilizes a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling in an effort to foster hope, healing and resilience. My style of therapy is informal, compassionate, and responsive to each person’s unique needs.

Over the past seven years, I have gained valuable teaching experience as a teaching assistant of visiting faculty in various organization and have received positive feedback from both students and colleagues. I have designed and delivered engaging lectures, facilitated class discussions, and mentored students in their academic pursuits. By employing innovative teaching strategies, such as incorporating multimedia resources and promoting active learning, I strive to create an interactive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and participation.
Beyond the classroom, I am committed to supporting and mentoring students in their personal and professional growth. I have served as a faculty advisor for student organizations, providing guidance and organizing events that promote students' holistic development. I am also well-versed in advising students on academic planning, career opportunities, and graduate school applications.

As an enthusiastic and dedicated educator, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the psychology on home based activities. I am confident that my passion for psychology, combined with my teaching and research experience, will enable me to inspire and empower students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
