My name is Solomon Chege Muturi, currently training at the Kenyatta University to be a teacher of French and Geography. My main area of specialisation is French. I have a wide set of skills in teaching French as well as student- friendly methodologies that will help them enjoy and learn more from the lessons. As a trained teacher under the new curriculum, CBC, I am able to handle every learner according to their cognitive ability and pace of learning, ie fast learning and slow learning students. In addition, I value creativity and I am ready to adjust my teaching techniques to ensure my learners are well exposed in the area of study. I have trained French for quite a while and all my students are able to express themselves well in French and enjoy the lessons all through. I value quality studies and therefore make it my personal responsibility to evaluate my learners progress and ensure that my clients have made good value of their money.   • French teacher to Kids and Adults. (Oct, 2023–Present) at Mitahato French village
    I am currently engaged part-time in teaching French at the Mitahato French Village, teaching French both to the primary and secondary kids as well as the adults, which entails the mothers of the kids learning French. Teaching French to beginners as well as intermediate learners is my greatest joy, especially when they are able to express themselves and communicate in the language. I believe anyone is capable of learning the language, regardless of their age or learning ability. Therefore, you too can learn French and have fun sharing your input with the Francophiles.
  • French teacher intern (May, 2023–Jul, 2023) at Ruchu girls
    I work as a teacher on practise at Ruchu Girls under the Kenyatta University teaching practicum programme. My role here is to teach French and Geography as well as learn more about the teaching methods and lesson delivery. I am designated to stay here for 3 months then resume studies.
