Born and brought up in a very illustrious and renowned musical family from Kolkata, India - Sridarshini is a desciple and the only daughter of Pandit Manas Chakraborty. Grown up in such musical atmosphere, teaching Vocal music is something which comes very naturally to her. She's eaqually easy in English, Hindi, and Bengali and have taught students from different parts of the world. Sge has been teaching, performing and recording in Mumbai, Kolkata and also in North Amarica for almost 2 decades. Her first solo album got published by Times Music in 2015 - Brishtikothon. Learning music is something which brings inner peace, enlightenment, positivity and proficiency gradually. She likes to teach keeping minute technical details in mind so she starts with basic voice training first. After her student gains control over his/her voice and the technical difficulties are rectified she moves forward. A Guru is not only a teacher he/she has to be a mentor, guide and friend for life so she always tries to be there for her student.
