I am an experienced teacher in English Language, Government &History and I teach math as well to an extent.
I am friendly and patient and I like to teach using conversations. As a teacher it is important to be patient with your students as all students do not learn at the same pace, this is why I take my time to teach my students and make sure they understand fully before I move on to the next project.Teaching with conversations allows the students to be more active, and it also allows me to know if they’re following up with my teachings. I also like to relate the topics to stories and examples from the real world, this way, the student realizes that learning goes beyond the classroom and, is able to use the knowledge gained in the real world . While teaching I make use of visual aids as well to enable the student have a visual representation of what they’re learning. Lastly I hold fun tests with the students regularly which allows them to study and retain knowledge because what a child practices he never forgets.
I try not to make teaching too formal because I’ve realized that this method doesn’t go quite well with students.
