I am a passionate bioinformatician who firmly believes that loving what you do makes it much easier to understand and excel in it. With a total of 7 years of teaching experience, I have been providing home tuition for students from classes 1 to 7, following the CBSE syllabus since 2017. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in online tutoring, specializing in teaching CBSE syllabus mathematics through the Cuemath platform.

After completing my MSc in Bioinformatics, I joined Elphinstone College in Mumbai as an Assistant Professor in the MSc Bioinformatics faculty. I dedicated 9 months to this role, completing a full academic year. During my time at Elphinstone College, I taught various aspects of bioinformatics, including algorithms, tools, and databases used in sequence analysis, structural analysis, functional analysis, NGS, and phylogenetic analysis. Being in the field of bioinformatics, which is constantly evolving, I am eager to join a startup company that will provide me with an opportunity to further discover and enhance my skills.

Currently, I am working as a Bioinformatics Analyst, where I utilize my knowledge and expertise to contribute to projects and tasks related to bioinformatics analysis. During my MSc program, I actively engaged in short projects and internships, further honing my skills and gaining practical experience in the field.

My journey in bioinformatics has been shaped by a deep passion for the subject and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. I am excited to explore new challenges and contribute my skills to further advancements in the field of bioinformatics.

    I analyze NGS data, write Python scripts for data analysis, and test bioinformatics tools. Currently, I am closely involved with the TB and Infectious Disease project that the company is running.
  • Assistant Professor (Aug, 2022–Apr, 2023) at Elphinstone College, Mumbai
    I taught students in the MSc Bioinformatics program, covering a wide range of topics including Sequence Analysis, NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing), algorithms used in bioinformatics, Structural Bioinformatics, the R programming language, Phylogenetic Analysis, Genomics, Metagenomics, and Proteomics. In addition to teaching these subjects, I set up the syllabus and managed the course, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for the students.
