Managing the preparing process of the school students to pass through the
international exams as PISA, ACT and SAT exams by designing plans, awareness
of teachers and students, Train students, Design material of trainings, organize
competitions to motivate the students.
Leading the department's planning process, which includes daily, annual,
quarterly and unit curriculum plans in accordance with Qatari mathematics
standards and in the context of building on students' previous knowledge and
experiences, with an emphasis on interconnectedness between different
curriculum areas.
Ensuring that curriculum standards, work plans, resources and model plans are
available in the department for all teachers.
Collaborating with the school administration to design professional development
plans and training for the schoolteachers in various areas such as implementing
new strategies, whether in teaching or evaluation, as well as using teaching
technology, classroom management techniques and student behavior.
Design and implement the professional development plans for the school math
teachers according to their training needs and according to their weaknesses and
strengths in their performance, which are evidenced by reports of class visits.
Supporting teachers by providing appropriate educational materials,
implementing seminars and training sessions to develop performance, organizing
exchange of classroom visits between members of the department to exchange
experiences, organizing activities to watch model sessions to exchange
experiences and refining skills, as well as conducting class visits and giving
teachers supportive feedback and Mentoring new non- experienced teachers.
Organizing weekly meeting for math teachers to plan for units, following up
tasks, assess the performance and make trainings to develop the work level.
Leading teachers by working in a team through distributing different tasks and
roles to suit their different skills and interests to develop their performance to be
future leaders.
Participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school
professional development liaising with other professionals, such as learning
mentors, careers advisers, educational psychologists and education welfare
officers.
Creating and implementing math lesson plans for different secondary grades
focused on developing problem solving and critical thinking skills for students for
different secondary grades according to the Qatari standards and policy of the
school, using English Language.
Collaborating with mathematics teachers to use a range of teaching and
assessment strategies to address individual learning differences and balance
between individual and grouping learning.
Leading the students results Analysis process to determine their weaknesses and
strengths then designing and applying remedial plans according that to raise
their achieving level
