I follow and use piano books- Bastien and Piano Adventures, for the flow and guide of topics that are needed to know and understand. For a strong foundation too of the students in music. I give specific pieces to perform and also ask my students the songs they want to learn and at least try playing them. I sometimes include games related to topics and do music listening and appreciation. I’m flexible in teaching different ages. If I saw the student that’s quite advance will adjust the lesson. Same thing if the student needs more attention, I am really patient with them.
