Methods is very simple . First give lecture to student then ask student to ask questions. Then give some assignment and again repeated the lecture . Never go further untill student understand. I have taught intermediate level as well as BS level.... I have good command on intermediate level. We are teaching students through books and gave them always assignment but assignment will be given when student understand the lecture and satisfied. Student can ask question. I will try my level best to satisfy my students . Thank u so
