I was given an opportunity to teach dosage formulation design and Bio-pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics for the students of Bachelor of Pharmacy. During this period I have conducted both theoretical and practical sessions. In order to make the concept clear and ease to remember, i conducted weekly and chapter wise tests. To be more subject oriented, I conducted quiz competitions by merging the boys and girls. This made them reduce gender biases. It was a wonderful experience with them and got 100% pass percentage consecutively for 5 years. I was promoted to handle M Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology) to teach Bio-pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics. The sessions were so interactive with power point presentations which made the subject easier for them. And all the students passed.
I continued to sharpen my teaching skills to Pharm. D students which was a new course introduced by Pharmacy Council of India. and video presentations. I mentored my students by giving tables, flash cards, charts etc for definitions, formulae, etc and I specially monitored few students for them to understand I had to introduce the subject to the beginners of the professional course. by giving daily lectures and making it understand practically in the laboratories with my demographic explanation the concepts. Also subjects like Pharmaceutical Technology, Novel drug delivery systems, Intellectual property Rights and Community Pharmacy. I headed the department of Pharmaceutics and taught Subjects like Dosage formulation design, Bio pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Quality assurance and management, Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmaceutical Unit operations, Industrial Pharmacy, product development for Bachelor in Pharmacy, Pharm. D and M. Pharmacy students
