Dear Parents,

I have been teaching Maths & Science to Grade 6 to 8 students. Over a period of 7 years of teaching in schools and during online mode also, i have observed that personal attention is necessary for an individual's growth and learning in any subject and more so in Maths & science.
Maths & science becomes foundational subjects in Secondary & Higher Secondary levels. Majority of the students who develop a phobia or disinterest with Maths in Junior classes, do not fair well in higher classes. The gaps in their understanding of subject remain for years and they trouble them time and again.
In my teaching, i take care that students really understand the subject, understand the utility of the concepts and they develop a liking of the subject by correlating it with the nature and things around.
Every child has a different ability to grasp and accordingly the teacher must teach, so that child's learning is a happy experience, not a pressurizing experience.
I take follow up of the homework given and encourage them to ask doubts frankly.
I conduct tests at certain frequency to check how much they are able to absorb the topic.
As a plant's growth is gradual, similarly, a child's mental, intellectual & overall growth is also gradual. Gardeners & Teachers need to keep watering ( educating ) patiently along with removing the weeds ( doubts & difficulties & hesitations ).
Students who come in touch with me, if they find their subject more stronger than before and they develop liking for the subject, i consider it as success.
