Teaching should be student centered. If at the end of the day, the student could not grasp what has been taught then teaching has not taken place. I teach to the understanding of the student and ensure I use teaching aids for easy understanding.
At the end of each class a test is given and the result would actually determine if the child really understood or not.
Teaching doesn't necessarily entail education alone you have to understand the psychological, physical and emotional mind of your student to enable you flow with them.
