16) Please write a short essay on the following: Reasons why you think you will be a good teacher.
I have empathy which is vital in teaching. Instead of making assumptions I make efforts to understand and address the root cause for example if a student performs poorly than others. I am innovative and I think outside the box. I am a problem solver who finds novel solutions to challenges. This skill helps me to foster creativity in students which is relevant to their career paths. Patience is another attribute I posses that makes it easier for me to work through each student's unique challenges and struggles. I also possess excellent communication skills. I am a good listener and I seek feedback, in-class I maintain two way communication between the teacher and student. I am also collaborative. I have excellent English skills pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar skills. My confidence and skills to give motivating and interesting lessons to your students and have the ability to develop my own teaching materials.
