I am a teacher who create a teacher student environment where we team put to work towards the main goal, which is the pass exams with flying colours. I usually like doing topics which are ahead of the topics you are doing in class, this will obviously improve your understanding when the topic is repeated to you.
I use past exam papers to evaluate the performance after completion of a number of topics
This enables me to work on the strengths and weakness of the student
I believe which repeating topics a number of times all students in a class can become A class students
