Managing the Sub contractor’s, including identification, resolution and mitigation of issues that may lead to disputes. Drafting of internal & external subcontract communication and documentation to the sub-contractor. Processing, compiling and certification of payment applications against work in progress. Verifying prices against contract to support claims. Drafting and processing of Variation Order Report (VOR) and contract amendments between Procurement & Project Controls Divisions for both site and head office. Compiling of forecasts in spending and final costs of subcontracts, including payment plan, milestone, services and final invoices. Maintain a good relationship with Subcontracts Managers. Preparation and managing of cost estimate, plans and cost control for the project. Ensure cost and valuation works are managed effectively. Contracts Administration. Implement and monitor costs within project milestones. Liaise with Change Management on cost recovery from default Sub contractors

Maximisation of project revenue, through cost calculations and reconciliations thereby ensuring maximisation of project income and cash flow, as well as cost controls and associated payment procedures. Calculation of required quantities by re-measuring the entire project to maximise revenue/profit on various projects. Effective selection and appointment of subcontractors and management of associated contractual obligations and compliance. Determine cost of the running Project and Scope growth. Evaluate the unit rates for new work items and present to client for review and approval. Measuring and valuing variations. Compile Cash Flow. Pricing of Extra work, Variations Performed on Site out of Scope of Work. Managing Sub-Contractors cash scope of work with extras and approving the monthly payment certificates to negotiating of final account. Financial Management. Ensuring contractual compliance, management and resolution of contractual issues. Cost effective specification of appropriate materials and calculation of required quantities. Being efficient and enthusiastic about slashing the projects running costs by managing all contingencies’ and any other extras arising in the project. Ensuring monthly Payment Certificates and Final account are negotiated and agreed based on actual work completed. Sub-Contractors adjudication and process monthly valuation for payments. Buildup of new rates and verify additional work, variation orders and site instructions. Assisting and advising on procurement process are performed effectively. Interfacing with client and all Stakeholders at all project stages. Good working knowledge and experience in FIDIC, JBCC and NEC contracts.
