My name is Kanika. I am looking for students for online classes. I have 25 years of musical artistic experience, social service and around 5+ years in education.

I teach western as well as Hindi songs. I have emotional intelligence, positive intelligence along with creative intelligence skills. I have a healthy blend of traditional values and also have a global outlook in life. I am also a person who believes in morality and ethics. My methodology as a teacher is to
spiritually connect with the child and create a safe space with lots of kindness and grace. I
always strive to be a magical guide for my learners and they adore me for this. I am very
sensitive to their self respect and human dignity.When i engage with a class the children in the session naturally start to gravitate towards unity and kindness towards each other by default. I easily blend music classes with customised value creation and various learnings if I feel the students collective is subconsciously requiring it in a class.

Being a spiritual guide I also love bhajans, mantras and understand the power of staying
anchored in our roots and for children to stay centered with their inner self. Having lived the
western rock and roll life and also immersed myself in Indian classical music has been a glorious
and a rich experience of 26 years for me in which I have not only sustained my musicality as an
independent artist but as a very grounded teacher I am also well able to transmit a deep love for
Ma Saraswati in children.

Children love me because i am non judgemental and inclusive in my approach. I can also talk
about various genres like rap, rock, western classical, blues, jazz, indian and sufi music with
them and never try to teach them but instead humbly and genuinely learn alongside them. I
have also created a methodology to teach indian children how to discern between good healthy
and junk music and how to customize songs to empower mental health and consciousness. I also
teach children the value of medicine music.
