Hi All,

I am Prashanth Kumar, Completed Bachelor's in Education (B.ed) In Kannada from Mysore University in year 2004 and 2005 with 1st Rank.

Worked in Infosys Company for 15 Years.

My passion towards education pulled me back, after working in Infosys, I worked in Good Shepherd School, Moka for 2 years as Senior Kannada Teacher for High School.

I have In-depth knowledge of teaching methods to all type of Students. I teach my students by following bottom to top approach as I am a firm believer in Basics. I follow Inquiry-Based Learning methodology and Student-Centered Approach to Learning, these methods makes me a great teacher.

I believe in giving more than100% from my side, as its not only about making money for me. Its about making the student learn new and get ready to face the examinations and Future confidently.
I can teach students in all grades, from class 1 to class 10 (1st standard to 10th Standard) it may be 1st, 2nd or 3rd language.

I can teach effectively to the students who are in higher grades but does not have the basic knowledge of Kannada reading and writing by motivating them and by understanding their challenges, I will start to teach them from scratch by taking their confidences because that's what they would be lagging currently.

Daily revision which is very important in learning, I will be focusing on this point on daily basis.

Best Kannada Teacher

We live in Canada and wanted our 7 year old son to learn basic Kannada reading and writing skills and I am glad I was able to find Prashanth.

We are more than happy with the progress our son has made in the Kannada learning journey.

Prashanth gives attention to feedback and adjusts according to the need and is very accommodative with respect to schedule as we live in Canada with a huge time difference.

We would give him a 5 stars.

The best teacher for learning Kannada

I knew that for me, coming from Himachal, learning Kannada would be a tough journey. It was going to take me months to even start to read and speak elementary level Kannada, therefore I would need a Kannada teacher who would help me maintain my energy and motivation throughout the months.

Prashanth has that quality. He is very patient and understanding. His support makes you want to improve, even when you can only devote 10 mins in a day.

The best thing is the attention to feedback because whenever I felt unsatisfied with the speed or the direction, the lesson plan was again discussed and adjusted according to my needs.

One last thing, many of the other teachers use conventional ways of teaching but Prashanth has also incorporated technology into his learning style, which gives a great boost to my learning speed. 5/5 stars

Highly knowledgeable and practical

I have been learning Kannada from Prashanth for the past 4 months and my experience has been great. I was a little apprehensive of learning a new language as an adult, but Prashanth helped me bridge that mental barrier with his professional yet pragmatic style of teaching. Prashanth is very knowledgeable in Kannada and has a strong grasp on the language. He made sure to understand my needs before starting to keep things practical. As I only wanted to learn spoken Kannada, we started with baby steps, learning every day words. We then slowly progressed to forming sentences. Prashanth always gives examples and situations when explaining new words and this really helps to understand the language better.

I am surprised to see myself speaking Kannada, although broken, but manageable. I don't think I would have been able to achieve this without a good and reliable teacher like Prashanth.

I highly recommend Prashanth if you wish to learn Kannada in a practical and fun way. He's a humble and professional person and I am glad I chose him as my Kannada teacher.
