No reviews yet

Hi everyone. I am Dr Wahid Ali. I have theoretical and practical knowledge of rock mechanics principles and their applications in the mining and tunnelling industries. I am teaching courses such as Rock Mechanics, Structural Geology, Tunnel Engineering, and Surface/Underground mine design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the university. I am an active researcher with a special interest in rock mechanics and engineering geology. I am a decent user of a variety of geotechnical and drafting software which include Rocscience Suite (RS3, Slide3, RSDATA, DIPS, UNWEDGE, ROCTOPPLE), ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Microsoft office suite. I am willing to teach the mentioned courses to students having the relevant background and willing to help them in solving complex engineering problems/assignments. I am interested to guide students in their postgraduate research projects/research publications/dissertations.
