Hi there,
I am an experienced professional mathematics instructor at University and high school. For a successful class, I encourage learning by using various manipulatives, hands-on activities, software like Maple, sites like mathematics stack exchange, and cooperative learning. In preparing students for final exam, I utilize weekly homeworks, weekly quizzes, and monthly tests. By this method on can track student progress and locate weaknesses. I usually end the class with an open question and the students should think about it for the next session. I have a file for each student in which I record all of his/her activities in the class.
