I am a professional, committed and organised teacher. I have been teaching for 22 years and possess considerable maths teaching experience along with an ability to motivate and inspire students across the age and ability range. I have experience of teaching the IGCSE, the Additional Maths Qualification, A Level, including the Further Maths modules. I possess excellent teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies to help pupils fulfil their potential. I am able to bring ideas, energy and enthusiasm to teaching and have a commitment to raising attainment. I am encouraging and patient; provide individualised and extracurricular support for students that are struggling with learning concepts and mathematical topics. I quickly develop an excellent rapport with students, staff members, and parents to produce a friendly and supportive environment. I have been Second in Department for 8 years and help to run a large successful Mathematics department of 10 staff. During this time the number of pupils opting for A Level Maths has more than doubled. I am currently teaching part time at Kings College, Murcia, where I specialize in teaching A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
