I am a pragmatic tutor with deep like for open mindedness in learning especially the inquiry mindset. I integrate lecture with hands on tutorials where the students are able to hear and practice what they learn through set demonstrations. I like using illustrative teaching and more so application of geospatial tools like google earth to connect the ideas with visualize-able facts. I use teaching aids like diagrams and case studies to help students relate the theory with what they see, touch or interact with on daily basis. My unique teaching methodology is premised on the Problem-based inquiry approach where students come up with research ideas of their interest, go out in the field to collect data and come analyse it and then make class presentation of their results using power points with emphasizes on the use maps to communicate to a wider audience . My passion for using Geo-spatial tools and reasoning in every unit makes the learning innovative and engaging as the students are left to explore on their own at their pace. I love pragmatic learning and teaching for my students for it challenges them to be spatial thinkers and problem solvers
