I am a professional who specializes in teaching English to individuals who do not speak English as their first language. I have worked with children and adults, and have taught in a variety of settings, such as schools, adult/part time centres or private tutoring.
My primary responsibilities as an English second language teacher include developing lesson plans, teaching grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension skills to my students. I also evaluate their progress and provide feedback on areas that need improvement.
I have a strong command of the English language and I'm able to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I am patient, empathetic, and able to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of individual students.
In addition to my teaching duties, I am also responsible for developing and administering assessments, creating instructional materials, and participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and best practices.
