I have completed a doctorate in civil engineering, with a major in applied structural engineering on the repair and reinforcement of deteriorated reinforced concrete structures using advanced materials at the Faculty of Engineering, Laval University. I have a significant experience in the industry and academically as well. In the previous years, I designed various types of structures in the field of civil engineering works in Quebec city, Canada, including the rehabilitation of the Alphonse-Normandin bridge in Sainte-Dominique-du-Rosaire, and the widening of Autoroute 20 in the city of Lévis, administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches. I also have participated in the design and execution of different structures as a structural engineer at the Ministry of Transport in Egypt. Academically, I worked as an instructor and a teaching assistant at Sohag University, Egypt and Laval University in Canada, respectively. During this time, I taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses such as design of steel and concrete structures, design of prestressed concrete, statics, theory of structures, among others. It would be grateful to put my experience in helping the students, who will be the future engineers.
