I am a 31 year old teacher in the Greater Austin area. I have 4 years of experience teaching AP World History at Del Valle Early College High School, a Title I High School in Southeast Austin. My last year teaching AP World History, 64% of my students received a 3 or higher on the AP World History Exam (compared to the 52% state average and 62.1% global average). I am passionate about the subject and love working with high school students. I received my single subject Social Studies Teaching Credential from the University of California, Davis in 2017. I received my AP World History Advanced Placement Summer Institute Certification in 2019, after the AP World History: Modern course curriculum was rolled out.
