I employ a summary lecture guided by a PowerPoint presentation for necessary explanations given in student’s preferred language (English or Filipino), allowing interruptions for questions and clarifications, followed by examples and applications as well as immediately considering the student’s concern that led to seeking tutoring. For computations and research, the step by step process will be clarified for the student, allowing immediate clarifications based on student’s query. I will help as necessary for student’s homework, assignments and projects by initially showing student what needs to be done and how it is to be done, I may present my understanding and thoughts of what his/her Instructor/Professor seem to expect for the final output of the student, but I will leave the completion to the responsibility and accountability of the student in order to determine extent of understanding and learning from the preliminary tutoring as well as to respect and allow student’s own abilities and creativity to prevail and be reflected in his/her output. I will make an initial evaluation of the completed homework, assignment or project then discuss with student my comments or feedback, the necessary changes and improvements, and these are then carried out by student, after which a second evaluation is done to ensure completeness, accuracy and quality prior to student’s final submission to his/her Instructor/Professor. I am most willing to adequately share as much of my advanced background and experience in the field of teaching various major subjects in Psychology for both undergraduate and graduate students. I will do best effort to meet the expectation of the students. Be rest assured of my kindness, patience and understanding. Be rest assured too that my internet connection is very suitable for online teaching.
