I have just completed my PhD in Bioinformatics at the Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University,
Lucknow with the collaboration of NDRI Karnal. My research is in the area of Next Generation
Sequencing and my thesis presents whole genome sequencing of pathogenic bacteria i.e E. coli for detecting antibiotic resistance and virulence genes.
Apart from my PhD work, I have more than 5 years’ experience under various ICAR labs.
During this period, I have gained valuable experience on whole genome/transcriptome and
microarray data analysis. I have published more then 10 research articles in a reputed journals like Plos and Nature Scientific resources.
I am aware of the dedication and perseverance that is needed to achieve the best results in this field and I believe that my experience will allow me to get it. I think that it is an excellent opportunity for me to demonstrate my abilities and acquire new skills.
