Hi, I am Reenu. I live in India. I am a passionate, friendly and patient math and computer Science/coding tutor.
I have 7 years experience in teaching math to middle school and junior schools and two years experience with International Curriculum especially Australian, Singapore, UK, USA. I have also been teaching grade 9 and 10 math since 4 years.

I am B. Sc. Computer Science and Master in Computer Application. In my initial 18 years I was an IT professional. I became a math tutor 8 years back. I have studied Math till my graduation as one of my main subjects. I scored above 97% throughout my high school and graduation.

Teaching has become my passion I enjoy the time I spend with young children and helping them excel in their math and reasoning skills. I have better job satisfaction by mentoring them.

I am a patient teacher with encouraging attitude towards student. I teach in an engaging way. The session is tailored to student's need and ability. I can teach math to CBSE, IGCSE and ICSE board. For young kids I am in constant touch with parents to know their expectations from me and I tailor my sessions according to the parents expectation and requirement. I drill down the complexity of the question so that student is able to understand and grasp. I encourage them to learn new skills. I am happy to teach sometimes with math gaming sites as well as student learning as well enjoy that way.

- Naplan, selective exam preparation, ICAS, AMC, -- Selective Test and OC in Australia,
- SASMO for Singapore,
- British Olympiad for UK students,
- Kangaroo olympiad and AMC for American students.
I have helped students qualify for first level IMO and prepare for 2nd level IMO.

I am preparing few students on Selective Exam, Naplan and Australian Math competitions, Kangaroo math currently.

I do not believe in giving direct answers to students. I help them themselves come to the answer by means of hints and visual aids. All sessions are personalized to the student's ability and needs.

For all students I do lot of problem solving questions of different style as they are often confused about which mathematical operation is to be used in the question. I make sure that kids like the session with me. I do not force any topic on my student. I let them have their choice. So no session is pre decided by me. It is tailored as per students needs and parent requirements.

I have good bond with all my students and I encourage them. I believe it is fine to make mistakes and slowly accuracy will come as you spend more time with math and practice it.

I give regular homework to students.

I have currently 14 Australian students, 3 UK, 2 Singapore student and 2 US students.

Computer Science - In Computer Science I can teach SQL, database, RDBMS and Python. I have even worked on SQL and Oracle for more than 10 years. I have been teaching python for nearly 2 years. I am a computer science graduate so I have good hold on programming and other computer concepts. I have three years experience in teaching block level programming and app based programming and have taught around 15 kids in the span of these three years

I have taught CBSE CS course to 4 students in last two years. They have secured 90 % marks in their exam

    I have taught math, reasoning and aptitude to nearly 70 students both in online and offline mode. Students were from grade 1 to 10. I also helped them with reasoning and competitive exams like IMO and Aryabhatta.

Fee details

    ₹400–1,000/hour (US$4.76–11.89/hour)

    The fee will vary as per time zone and the grade of student. Sessions for America will be higher as it requires tutor to work during early hours of day.
    For Indian student it will be 400 per hour. For students located outside India, session cost is minimum 700 INR. Session cost will increase with region or grade.
    If you book below 3 sessions per week, then hourly rate is minimum Rs. 700.
    In case you book 3 or more classes, it drops to Rs. 600 per class for Australia, New Zealand, middle East.
    For America and Europe it is minimum Rs. 900 per hour for 1 to 2 sessions per week. It drops to Rs. 800 per hour for 3 or more sessions per week.
