I am Dr. Muheet Ahmed Butt who is presently working in LINC Education Services Pvt. Limited Singapore as Subject Matter Expert and online faculty for many courses. I have been making content for the Universities of Singapore and Australia for various Units and Courses. In addition to that, I am also working as a Senior Technical writer for a US Company Nature9 on making content for an API development Platform.
I have worked in the Department of Computer Sciences, the University of Kashmir, Srinagar as a Scientist where I was involved in Teaching and Research activities for Masters and Doctorate courses. I have also been the architect of the Computerizing University of Kashmir Examination System. I have around 23 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Curriculum Design, Software Development, and Consultancy. I am a fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education, the Computer Society of India, and other reputed organizations. In addition to that, I have more than 130 international publications in reputed journals which include Elsevier, Emerald, Thomson Reuter, Web of Science, ACM, IEEE, Procedia, Springer, etc., and have guided many Ph. D. Scholars. My research area of specialization is Databases, Programming Languages, Data Mining and Knowledge Extraction. I have more than 100 academic projects and 35 live projects for academia and industry. Recently he has also bagged the best Innovator award in Jammu and Kashmir for his innovation in Kashmir Arts out of 160 Innovators in the Year 2020.
In addition to that, I have also worked on many national and international software projects. I have provided consultancy to the state and central Government in many information technology initiatives. I have also provided consultancy to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for formulating, various ICT initiatives/ Projects taken up by the Higher Education Department in Education, Curriculum Design, Research, Capacity Building, and Infrastructure Development in all the Government Degree Colleges and Universities of UT of Jammu and Kashmir worth millions. I am the founder and member of the Directorate of Information Technology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, and the Founder Architect for the Computerization of the University of Kashmir, Srinagar JK India’s Examination System.
