I am Sharmada, 30 years of age and I hail from Mysore - the cultural capital of karnataka.
I cleared Vidwath in Bharatanatyam at the age of 19 in 2011.
Dance has been my way of life - I have been learning dance ever since I was 5 years old.

In addition to Vidwath that I have in Bharatanatyam, I hold a prestigious master degree in Bharatanatyam (MA Bharatanatyam) from a performing arts University.
I also hold a master degree in microbiology from the university of mysore.

I have rendered dance programs for popular TV shows and have performed in various cultural events organized by the cultural committees.
I consider myself to be fortunate enough to render dance programs in the most prestigious places in and outside India.
To name a few: Kathmandu - Nepal, Kashi, Haridwar, Hrishikesh, Nagpur, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Bangalore, Shimoga, Kollur, Kateel, Dharmasthala, Udupi, Horanadu and my hometown - Mysore during dasara and other cultural festivals.

I have the strong passion, purpose and knowledge about the art with backing of scientific analysis to teach and contribute to uphold the rich culture and heritage that I have inherited.
