Amy teaches English, Literature and Law. She specialises in providing creative lessons and customised practice materials for students of all ages (7 years to adult learners). Each student receives regular reports on their progress and practice materials designed for their strengths and weaknesses.

Amy's tailored lessons have proven to be particularly effective for students struggling with specific issues in language and literature. Past successes include a 12 year-old student who struggled with pronunciation difficulties and an IB student challenged by the rigours of the English (Language & Literature) syllabus. Her teaching style and methods are informed by her training in counselling and theatre to build confidence and encourage initiative in students.

She understands that each student has a unique mindset about learning and students learn best through a personalised approach. Interested clients are encouraged to reach out for a chat on how she can help with you or your child's learning challenges.

Background: After several years as a disputes lawyer, Amy left the law to pursue her passion in counselling and teaching. She offers pro bono counselling services as well as university admission coaching for students seeking entry into Singapore-based law schools and programmes.
