I am a Professional Mridangam artiste and the Disciple of world renowned Mridangam Maestro Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani and an A grade artiste with All India Radio.I had an opportunity to perform in front of the maestro Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani in 2006 . After viewing my performance he accepted him as his disciple. I received advanced and intensive training under Guru Karaikudi Mani
The dedication to teaching of my teachers has influenced me tremendously. My emphasis has been to ensure students obtain a thorough knowledge of the basic fundamental principles of Mridangam before proceeding to higher levels. I have many students all over the world. who are at different levels of training including starting from the very basics. It has been an absolute pleasure and a sense of utmost satisfaction to see many of my students perform in concerts and receive accolades at a variety of music festivals and competitions held both in India and abroad such as the Cleveland Thyagaraja Music Festival. Spreading the love and knowledge of music is absolutely essential in our life.
