I use a learner centred approach to learning. I first connect with my students and I create a rapport before engaging them, this makes it easier for the learner to take instruction.
I provoke thinking in my learners and I guide them to the journey of discovery, this makes them life-long learners.
I build my concepts from known to unknown to develop interest in learners. I make my lessons fun by integrating fun yet educative activities in them.
Above 70% of my students record straight As in IGCSE. Most of them actually end up pursuing language related courses due to the inspiration they draw from me. However, I work hard to nurture the specific talent in individual learners.
I am not only a teacher to students but a friend, a confidant and role model. I nurture character in my students because I know that Education without character is useless.
