I am a loyal, self-motivated, energetic, adaptive, and caring counselor and teacher who love making a difference in the lives of young children. I am open-minded, patient, and supportive toward other people, especially children or those with special needs. I am a counselor and teacher with over 8 years of experience in the helping professions. Besides, I have been teaching psychology and management courses for undergraduate students in different higher academic institutions (Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Unity University, and Western University College) as a part-time instructor.
I have acquired the skills and knowledge to help support these individuals in the struggles they endure every day. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Management and master’s degree in Social Psychology and MBA in Management.
I have the skills and a real desire to help these people develop socially and teach them how to care for themselves. Besides, I value communication and have a very compassionate nature with a calm disposition. I possess a thorough knowledge and expert practical use of counseling theories with a preference toward a cognitive behavioral approach. I have been told that I am very skilled at helping clients to recognize destructive thought patterns that lead to behavioral change.
